Upgrades stack on any office or storage container and bill monthly with the rent.
CONNECT includes a 50 GB Roam plan, and unlimited Starlink is available for $75/mo when the expected use needs more capacity. The unlimited option requires CONNECT or the JOLT Pack and joins the same recurring invoice.
The stated upgrade prices are before tax. The damage waiver is 12% and the environmental fee is 5%; each applies to the rent plus recurring upgrades, while the environmental fee is not assessed on the waiver itself.
Billing starts on delivery, not while the system is being prepared at our yard in Gypsum. CONNECT does not replace container rent, delivery or the reservation deposit, so use pricing to separate those items before issuing a purchase order.
The monthly structure keeps the internet term aligned with the container term. When our truck retrieves the unit, the dish, router and mounting hardware return with it instead of becoming another vendor account and loose equipment package for project closeout.
What does CONNECT solve on a new site?
A temporary office can arrive before wired service reaches the parcel. CONNECT gives the crew Starlink through equipment already fitted to its rented office or storage container, so internet does not require a separate roof mount assembled after delivery. The router is inside when the box lands.
For a superintendent, the practical job is coordination. Plans, email and ordinary cloud work can begin from the container when the service has a useful sky view, available power and network capacity. The package removes a procurement step, but it does not eliminate the need to define how the crew will use the connection.

The included plan carries 50 GB of Roam data. A team using email and plan access creates a different demand than sustained video transfer, repeated large downloads or many simultaneous personal devices. Review expected work before selecting the included allowance or unlimited Starlink.
CONNECT can also serve a storage container where no office is required. A tool crib or material box can host the roof equipment and indoor router, provided the chosen position has sky view and power. The upgrade does not change that container into an office or add lights, outlets or a work surface.
Because the Starlink terminal rides on the rented unit, container placement and internet placement become one decision. A convenient corner for deliveries may sit beneath trees or beside a high wall, while an open position may create a longer walk for the crew. Resolve that tradeoff in the site logistics plan before our truck arrives.
The Starlink cost answer separates the monthly service choice from the rest of the site setup. CONNECT is useful when the project needs a defined rented system, not when the team expects an unrestricted performance promise at every mountain location.
What is in the kit, and what stays outside it?
CONNECT includes a Starlink Mini mounted on the roof, a router inside and the 50 GB Roam plan. The dish, router and related rented hardware stay JOLT's property. We confirm the assigned system at reservation rather than asking the crew to buy and adapt equipment in the field.
The roof position is intended to give the terminal a view of the sky while keeping it with the unit. The router brings the connection inside the container for the crew's devices. Neither fact overcomes an obstruction, network interruption or missing power source.
CONNECT runs from an office's shore power, another suitable site source or as one of the loads supported by POWER. The Base and 40 ft bathroom offices have provided shore-power inlets, while Grid-Free and Alpine carry their own solar array and battery. Storage placements and other arrangements need a suitable source confirmed for the assigned unit.
The package does not include temporary electrical service for tools, heaters, compressors or the office mini-split. POWER supports Starlink, the WATCH camera, LED lights, laptops and phones, but not those heavier loads. Use the off-grid power guide to distinguish communications continuity from general jobsite electricity.
CONNECT is not a speed promise. It does not guarantee that a particular file transfer, meeting or number of connected devices will perform the same way at every hour or every location. Third-party network conditions, weather, obstructions and available power remain part of actual service.
The unlimited Starlink add-on changes the included data plan, not the physical site conditions. It does not remove the need for sky view, create electrical supply or guarantee capacity. Choose it because expected data use exceeds the included plan, not as a remedy for a blocked terminal.
WATCH is a separate solar LTE camera with motion alerts and cloud clips. It sends through its own cellular connection and does not need CONNECT. READY adds furniture, appliances and backup heat, but it contributes no internet or power source.
The JOLT Pack combines CONNECT, WATCH and POWER when the same container needs all three. It does not include READY, enlarge the standard POWER battery or turn a Base office into Grid-Free. The unlimited Starlink line remains optional on top of the Pack.
Which containers accept CONNECT?
The 20 ft Base office, 40 ft office with bathroom, and the 10, 12, 20 ft storage container and 40 ft storage units accept CONNECT. Grid-Free and Alpine already include it. Temporary fence, light towers, ground heaters, traffic control and hand-wash stations do not accept container upgrades.
| Unit | CONNECT | Unlimited Starlink |
|---|---|---|
| 20 ft Base office | Add | Add with CONNECT or Pack |
| 20 ft Grid-Free office | Included | Add |
| 20 ft Alpine office | Included | Add |
| 40 ft bathroom office | Add | Add with CONNECT or Pack |
| 10, 12, 20 and 40 ft storage | Add | Add with CONNECT or Pack |
| Fence and equipment | Not available | Not available |
On Base, CONNECT can use properly connected shore power or pair with POWER for its listed loads. The 40 ft bathroom office follows the same upgrade logic. Alpine's included CONNECT uses its built-in power system. The internet package does not change each office's physical features.
A storage box may be the right host where the crew needs internet near materials but does not need an occupied office. Select the storage size for access and capacity first, then verify that its planned location gives the terminal sky view and a suitable power arrangement. CONNECT adds connectivity, not an office conversion.
The Grid-Free office and Alpine already include CONNECT, WATCH and POWER. They should not receive another base CONNECT charge. READY, a second camera and unlimited Starlink are the only upgrade additions available on either tier.
Grid-Free and Alpine are also distinct because their built-in larger battery runs HVAC. Adding POWER and CONNECT to Base does not recreate either tier, and unlimited Starlink changes only the plan. Choose one of those tiers when the office itself must operate without shore power rather than when internet is the sole missing service.
Fence and equipment cannot host CONNECT even when those items are on the same reservation. Put the system on a JOLT office or storage container in an appropriate location. A light tower or temporary fence line is not an alternative mounting platform.
How is CONNECT fitted, maintained and returned?
Our team fits the roof-mounted Starlink Mini and indoor router at our yard in Gypsum before our truck rolls. The system travels with the prepared container rather than arriving as an unopened package for the superintendent to assemble. Tell us about trees, walls, cut banks or covered placement while the order is being confirmed.
CONNECT can be added later by arrangement if the internet need emerges during the rental. JOLT coordinates fitting and access, and the customer should not drill, cut or create a mounting route. The details of any later visit are confirmed when the change is arranged.
At delivery, the customer representative directs the container to the prepared location. That person should consider the terminal's sky view alongside firm, level, well-drained support and clear access for the delivery truck. A placement that is physically acceptable can still be poor for satellite service if the roof sits beneath an obstruction.
The rented dish, router and mounting hardware remain JOLT property under section 13 of the Rental Agreement Terms. They stay with the unit throughout the term and return on the same truck at retrieval. Do not treat the equipment as customer-owned networking hardware after it reaches the job.
Removing or disabling JOLT telematics or cameras is prohibited, and rented systems must not be altered. Contact JOLT when hardware needs attention instead of changing the roof mount or cable route. Field modifications can damage both the system and the container.
The customer keeps snow, ice and debris off roofs, panels, dishes, doors and access paths under section 7. Include the Starlink terminal in storm checks and clear it without removing or modifying the rented installation. Maintaining a usable sky view also means watching for later staging that surrounds the unit.
Upgrade hardware is excluded from damage-waiver coverage beyond ordinary wear. The waiver also excludes theft, vandalism, unauthorized relocation and snow-load neglect under section 12. It is not insurance and does not shift ordinary site-care duties back to JOLT.
When the rental ends, leave the terminal, router and mount with the container. Remove the project's devices and customer property, clear the truck route and provide written pickup notice under the agreement. CONNECT billing ends with retrieval, not merely when the crew stops using WiFi.
What controls service at a mountain jobsite?
CONNECT needs a clear view of the sky, a suitable power source and access to the third-party satellite network. Trees, a building edge, a high wall, a rock cut or another container can obstruct the terminal. Snow, weather and changing site conditions can also affect operation.
JOLT does not guarantee speed, uptime, coverage or capacity, and interruptions do not produce a service credit. Section 13 states those limits for satellite, LTE and solar systems. Plan critical communications with that limitation in mind rather than treating a rented connection as the only possible channel.
Available power is as important as sky view. An office with shore power must have the site supply connected through the provided inlet by a licensed electrician. CONNECT may instead operate from another suitable source or from POWER within that kit's supported-load plan.
The crew's data behavior controls whether the included 50 GB plan fits. Cloud plan access and routine communication differ from continuous video, large model synchronization or unrestricted personal use. Set a policy and review expected work before ordering, because the unlimited option is best selected intentionally.
Container placement can become less suitable as work advances. A new building wall, stockpile, temporary roof or line of parked equipment may interrupt a view that was open at mobilization. Review the terminal when the logistics plan changes instead of assuming its first-day conditions remain fixed.
Snow management belongs to the customer. Keep the dish and roof clear, preserve safe access and do not detach the system.
When is CONNECT the wrong choice?
Skip CONNECT when reliable site internet already reaches the exact container location and another managed connection would duplicate it. It is also a poor choice when the planned placement has no clear sky view or no suitable source of power. Resolve those physical requirements before paying for another monthly line.
Choose WATCH when the need is remote observation rather than crew internet. WATCH carries its own LTE connection for motion alerts and cloud clips, so buying CONNECT does not enable the camera. A project may use both, but each should answer a different operating question.
Choose POWER when communications and listed small loads need solar-battery support. POWER can serve Starlink, WATCH, LED lights, laptops and phones, but it does not run mini-splits, power tools, compressors, heaters or the READY microwave. If shore power is reliable, CONNECT can operate without adding POWER.
Choose Grid-Free or Alpine when a 20 ft office needs its HVAC to run away from shore power. Both tiers include CONNECT, WATCH and POWER plus the larger system intended for HVAC. Combining the standard add-ons on a Base office does not produce the same result.
Select the JOLT Pack when one eligible office or storage container needs internet, observation and the standard light-load solar system together. Select READY separately if the crew also needs a plan table, chairs, whiteboard, mini-fridge, microwave and backup heater. The Pack does not furnish the room.
Use how it works to align site preparation, reservation and delivery. When the job address, underlying unit, sky view, power source and plan choice are settled, continue to Reserve and include known obstructions in the order discussion.
Questions contractors ask
How much does CONNECT cost?
CONNECT costs $259/mo before tax and bills with the container rent. The 12% damage waiver and 5% environmental fee apply to rent plus recurring upgrades.
What equipment and service does CONNECT include?
CONNECT includes a roof-mounted Starlink Mini, a router inside the unit and a 50 GB Roam plan. The rented hardware remains JOLT property.
Can CONNECT provide unlimited Starlink data?
Unlimited Starlink costs another $75/mo and requires CONNECT or the $699/mo JOLT Pack. It can also be added to Grid-Free because CONNECT is built into that office.
What powers CONNECT?
CONNECT runs from shore power, another suitable site source or as one of POWER's supported loads. It does not include general-purpose jobsite power.
Does CONNECT guarantee an internet speed?
No. JOLT does not guarantee speed, uptime, coverage or capacity because service depends on the third-party network, sky view, weather and available power.
Can CONNECT go on a storage container?
Yes. CONNECT fits JOLT's 10, 12, 20 and 40 ft storage containers and every office container.
Is CONNECT included with the Grid-Free office?
Yes. The $1,495/mo Grid-Free office includes CONNECT, WATCH and POWER, so only the $75/mo unlimited plan would be an added Starlink line.
Can CONNECT be added after container delivery?
Yes, by arrangement with JOLT. The hardware must remain on the unit and return with it at the end of the rental.
