Delivery to Minturn is Zone B — $550 each way for the 33-mile run from our Gypsum yard. Narrow residential sites, Main Street work and steep side streets usually call for shorter storage or a 20 ft office; the full fleet price table appears near the end.

Will a container fit on your Minturn lot?

Start with the truck path, not the empty rectangle where you want the unit. Minturn has narrow lots along Main Street and the Eagle River, steep side streets and older homes being rebuilt, so a box may fit after placement even when our loaded tilt-bed cannot line up to set it.

The mountain delivery access checklist helps you look beyond unit length. Photograph the approach from the public road, every turn, the proposed pad, the overhead space and the route our truck must use to leave.

Under Rental Agreement §5, you provide a firm, level, well-drained surface, marked utilities and adequate road width, grade, turning radius and overhead clearance. You also provide about 70 ft of straight-line clearance for a 20 ft unit or 100 ft for a 40 ft unit, plus a representative who can direct the final placement.

A shorter box can solve a placement problem, but it does not erase truck access requirements. The 10 ft walk-in storage container sits where a 20 ft unit will not, while the 12 ft walk-in storage container gives crews an 8 ft wide tool crib with a man door, one barred window and cargo doors at the end.

The 20 ft storage container works when cargo-door access and more floor area matter. It has four lock bars and a welded lockbox but no window or man door, so preserve room for both cargo doors and the material aisle.

Do not plan around placing a unit partly on a neighbor's property unless you already have the required consent. A nearby staging area can also work by arrangement, but permits, HOA approval and landlord or property-owner consent remain your responsibility under §5.

Slope is a separate issue from length. Review whether a shipping container can be placed on a slope, then choose a level pad rather than expecting the driver to correct an unsuitable grade during placement.

Which unit matches the work happening in Minturn?

Residential rebuilds on compact parcels reward frequent access more than raw floor area. A 10 ft or 12 ft walk-in box lets a foreman enter through a personnel door without swinging cargo doors into the active work lane every time a drill or fitting is needed.

For a conventional material room, the 20 ft box is the practical middle choice. Check how much a 20 ft shipping container weighs before directing a loaded truck across a driveway edge, soft shoulder or buried service route.

The 40 ft high-cube storage container gives twice the floor of a 20 ft box and stands 9 ft 6 in tall. Its 3-month minimum and roughly 100 ft delivery line make it better for an open staging parcel than a narrow in-town rebuild.

Crews who need desks, heat and cooling can use a 20 ft office container. The 20 ft Base office is 8 ft wide by 8 ft 6 in tall, with a 36-inch steel door, two barred slider windows, a mini-split, lights, outlets, vinyl-plank floor and a 50-amp shore-power inlet.

A client-facing placement may suit the 20 ft Alpine office. It keeps the Grid-Free camera, Starlink, solar array and 10 kWh battery, then adds a matte black finish, cedar surrounds, standing-seam over-roof, covered entry deck and backup heat.

Use the 40 ft office with bathroom only when the access study supports a 40 ft delivery. It has an enclosed bathroom at the far end, mini-split heat and cooling, shore-power inlet, lights, outlets and vinyl-plank floor.

Site support can arrive with the main unit. Temporary fence uses 6 ft by 10 ft galvanized chain-link panels on steel tube stands, while traffic control packages provide defined sets of cones, barricades, vertical panels and, with Full, a solar arrow board.

Dark work areas may need a light tower with four LED floodlights on a mast reaching about 30 ft. A portable hand-wash station can be added to a unit or ordered alone, keeping a compact setup from consuming office space.

How does our truck reach Minturn from Gypsum?

Every trip starts at our yard in Gypsum, off I-70 at the west end of the Eagle River valley. Our truck travels east on I-70 to Exit 171 at Dowd Junction, then follows US-24 south into Minturn.

US-24 becomes Minturn's Main Street and continues south past Red Cliff, across Tennessee Pass and toward Leadville. It is a two-lane highway shared with through trucks, so the final approach off Main Street, not the highway miles, is usually what decides whether the set goes smoothly.

Reserve around a standard 2–4 week delivery window. The only Express-eligible unit is the 20 ft Base office, which can be on site within 7 business days with JOLT Express; neither window is a promise of a particular clock time.

Your field contact should keep the placement lane free until our truck leaves. Parked subcontractor vehicles, a material drop, a fresh excavation or a snow pile can turn a workable plan into a failed trip between the photo review and arrival.

If our truck reaches the site and cannot set the unit because of access, site conditions, weather at the site or no representative, §5 charges that delivery trip and the next trip. We place the unit where your representative directs, and damage to the site from that directed placement is your responsibility.

Plan pickup access on delivery day as well. You may not move or tow the unit, and rent continues until JOLT retrieves it after at least 15 days' written notice under Rental Agreement §16.

Who should you ask about a Minturn placement?

For property inside town limits, start with the Town of Minturn at Town Hall. For an unincorporated Eagle County parcel, contact Eagle County Community Development rather than assuming a Minturn mailing address determines the reviewing authority.

Minturn is a home rule town in Eagle County with a 2020 census population of 1,033, small enough that Town Hall staff will know the parcel you are describing. The town boundary, not the mailing address, decides which office reviews the placement.

Ask the reviewing authority what approvals apply to the unit, duration and exact placement you propose. Permit type and fee depend on how the Town or County classifies the use and the rental term, so bring the site plan and the expected months on site to that conversation.

Property approval belongs in the same pre-delivery file as the site plan. Under §5, you are responsible for permits, zoning, HOA and landlord consents, so collect them before the truck is scheduled rather than asking the driver to interpret them.

If a neighbor's lot provides the only usable set line, obtain that owner's permission before reservation. Mark boundaries and utilities, stake the unit corners and make sure the representative on site knows the approved door orientation.

Zone assignment follows the delivery ZIP code. When an unincorporated address falls outside our published tables, we quote it by text instead of assigning it Minturn's Zone B fee.

What changes at 7,861 ft in winter?

Minturn's elevation is 7,861 ft per USGS GNIS, and snow falls roughly from November through April at this elevation. A shaded river lot or steep side street can hold snow and ice differently from an open pad, so review the actual route close to delivery.

Plow the truck approach to its full usable width and preserve the straight set line. Remove compacted snow from the placement surface, keep overhead branches clear and do not build a snowbank where the cargo doors or pickup path must remain.

A ground heater is a trailer-mounted hydronic unit with insulated hose on a reel. It is priced in season for thawing ground and curing concrete, but it does not make an unprepared container pad firm or level.

Winter planning also covers retrieval. A box delivered onto a clear pad in autumn can become trapped by snow storage, temporary fence or staged materials, and a failed pickup incurs the pickup fee for that trip plus the next trip while rent continues.

The Eagle River runs through town, so low placement points deserve careful drainage review. Keep runoff and meltwater moving away from the unit rather than accepting a convenient depression beside the work.

Minturn grew up as a railroad town on the Denver & Rio Grande Western line over Tennessee Pass, and the dormant tracks still run along the town's edge. Its narrow valley form is why deliberate staging pays off more than ordering the longest unit first.

How do you run an office where shore power is not ready?

The 20 ft Grid-Free office bundles the Base office with WATCH, CONNECT and POWER. Its 10 kWh battery runs the HVAC, and the unit does not require shore power, which can simplify an early phase before permanent electrical service is available.

For a Base office, POWER adds two 400 W panels, a 3 kWh LFP battery and an inverter. Alpine already includes solar and a 10 kWh battery. Solar and battery performance still depends on sunlight and load, so place panels with a useful sky view and manage what crews plug in.

CONNECT supplies Starlink Mini, a router and 50 GB Roam service. Terrain, weather, sky view, power and third-party networks affect service, so treat it as jobsite connectivity rather than an uptime promise.

WATCH adds a solar LTE camera for site visibility. LTE coverage varies in the river canyon, theft is excluded from the damage waiver, and the recording notices and consents the law requires at the site are yours under Rental Agreement §13.

The READY office package adds a plan table, 2 chairs, whiteboard, mini-fridge, microwave and 1,500 W heater. It can stack onto any office, while JOLT PACK groups WATCH, CONNECT and POWER for a Base or storage unit; Grid-Free and Alpine already include them.

What does the full Minturn order cost?

Minturn is Zone B for a listed Minturn delivery ZIP. The delivery and pickup charges are the same each way, while a ZIP outside the table receives a written quote by text.

Monthly rent depends on the unit and upgrades. The table publishes every fleet family's starting rate, and the pricing schedule explains deposits, recurring fees and delivery separately.

A 12 ft walk-in storage unit for a compact rebuild is $325/mo rent, with $550 delivery and $550 pickup. Add the 12% damage waiver and 5% environmental fee on rent and recurring upgrades, plus sales tax.

The damage waiver applies at 12% of rent plus recurring upgrades and has exclusions under Rental Agreement §12, including theft. Its alternative is a refundable deposit of one month's rent plus a certificate of insurance.

Rent remains due for the full minimum term. After that term, the rental continues month to month until you give 15 days' written pickup notice and we retrieve the equipment, and rates increase 5% on each delivery anniversary under Rental Agreement §3.

How do you reserve for a Minturn site?

Use the reservation form, or the quote form further down the page, with the exact placement address, requested unit and site contact. Our rental process helps your field team gather access photos and placement notes before dispatch.

The reservation deposit is applied to the first invoice under Rental Agreement §2. Written cancellation received more than 14 days before the first day of the delivery window is free; at 14 days or less, the deposit is forfeited.
