The 40 ft office with bathroom costs $32,500 delivered within Zones A–B and combines field workspace with an enclosed bathroom at the far end. The build column above lists what ships; the Request a Bill of Sale form below starts the purchase. Ross prepares the Bill of Sale himself; a purchase does not use the online rental reservation flow.

What ships with the 40 ft field office?

The unit is a 40 ft ISO container office arranged for a crew that needs workspace and a bathroom in one ground-level structure. The bathroom is enclosed at the far end, separating it from the main working area. The listed configuration does not include the owner's site utility work.

Mini-split heat and cooling serve the office when the site provides suitable power. The office has a 50-amp shore-power inlet, installed lights, outlets and vinyl-plank flooring. Those are the complete published interior facts; furniture, internet, observation and independent power services remain separate.

The purchase price is $32,500 delivered within Zones A–B, before applicable sales tax. Other zones are quoted on the Bill of Sale because the longer route and the sale must be scoped together, which is why the form asks for the delivery address. The delivery-zone schedule shows where each town falls.

Water and sewer are the owner's to supply and connect. The buyer also coordinates the site-side electrical source and a licensed electrician for the provided inlet. Treat all three utilities as project scope, not as work that arrives on our truck with the office.

A clear route and prepared placement let our truck set a container office where the site representative directs.

The fleet uses one-trip ISO shells. That description concerns prior service, while the listed office features define what ships. Read the one-trip versus used shipping container answer for the distinction, and use the 40 ft office weight answer when planning later transport rather than guessing from an empty container.

This is not a 20 ft office stretched into a claim about capacity. The published facts do not establish an occupancy count, fixture type, wall construction or HVAC output. Confirm any detail needed for the assigned unit and local review during the sale process instead of treating a photograph as a specification.

Is renting or buying the better fit?

Cumulative rent at $1,595/mo passes the purchase price in month 21. That month count is a useful first screen for an owner who expects the same office to serve beyond one project. It is not a computed project total and does not include every responsibility on either side. The Buy or rent section above puts the purchase price against three years of rent.

A rental carries delivery and pickup by zone, a 12% damage-waiver option or the deposit-and-certificate-of-insurance alternative, an environmental fee of 5%, a 5% anniversary increase and a three-month minimum (12 months in Zone F). Applicable sales tax and selected recurring upgrades are separate. After the minimum, the rental continues month to month until proper written notice and retrieval.

Renting fits a defined phase when retrieval is valuable. A superintendent can place the office for the scheduled work, maintain access and have JOLT collect it after the term and notice requirements are met. The contractor does not need to find an off-project yard, arrange another carrier or carry upkeep into the next budget.

Buying fits a repeat need with an ownership plan. The buyer carries applicable sales tax, permits, codes and approvals, future moves, upkeep and storage or placement after the current job. There is no pickup at the end, because written title transfer puts the office and its next destination under the owner's control.

Compare the next two placements, not only the present mobilization. A 40 ft office requires a longer delivery path than a 20 ft office and brings bathroom utility work to every site. Ownership works when those repeated moves, utility connections and approvals are realistic.

Review the 40 ft rental option for the temporary path. Then use the rental-versus-buying break-even answer to keep transport, recurring rental charges, tax, upkeep and idle time in the correct columns. The pricing page provides the current published lines without turning unlike responsibilities into one number.

The 40 ft office is buy or rent only. The monthly plans that reach title over 24 or 36 months are published for the 20 ft office builds, not for this bathroom unit, so do not budget the 40 ft office on a borrowed 20 ft payment. If the business wants eventual title with a scheduled payment path, the 20 ft office purchase is the unit that offers it.

What site and access work belongs to the buyer?

JOLT delivers on our truck from our yard in Gypsum. Included delivery within Zone A covers Gypsum, Eagle, Edwards, Avon and Beaver Creek. Zone B covers Vail, Minturn, Wolcott and Glenwood Springs; locations beyond those zones are quoted with the office.

Prepare a firm, level and well-drained placement. A 40 ft office needs about 100 ft of straight-line clearance for the tilt-bed or flatbed set, plus adequate road width, turns, grade and overhead room. A pad that fits the shell can still fail if the truck cannot approach and leave safely.

Walk the full route before dispatch. Check bridges, gates, switchbacks, eaves, wires, branches, parked machinery, snowbanks, excavation and recently placed material. The mountain access guide gives a field-oriented review, while the answer on container delivery space focuses on the placement clearance.

Locate and mark underground and overhead utilities. Secure permits, zoning decisions, HOA approval and landlord consent as applicable. A representative must be present to direct placement, and the owner bears responsibility for the location selected under section 5 of the Rental Agreement Terms until title transfers.

Water and sewer service require planning beyond a stub near the pad. The owner determines the lawful source, discharge, routing, freeze protection and connection work with the relevant professionals and authority. JOLT supplies the listed bathroom room in the office; it does not supply or connect the site's utilities.

The same boundary applies to electricity. A licensed electrician connects site power through the provided 50-amp shore-power inlet. Keep the route available until our truck exits, then coordinate all site-side electrical work without cutting or drilling another opening.

If the access is narrow, steep or constrained, raise it before the delivery scope is finalized. Photos, measurements and an accurate delivery address help, but they do not replace an on-site decision about safe truck access. Our driver must be able to place the unit without relying on an unlisted crane plan or a makeshift site move.

How does the Bill of Sale request work?

The form on this page asks for six things: your name, your company, a mobile number, the email address the Bill of Sale should go to, the delivery address and the date you want the office on site. Nothing is charged by the request and no card is asked for.

Two emails go out the moment you press send. You receive a confirmation that repeats the unit, the price and the delivery address so a typo is caught before paperwork starts. The yard receives the same details with your target date, and Ross calls or texts within the same business day to confirm the unit, the route and the timing.

Your purchase contract is the Bill of Sale. For the 40 ft office it names the assigned unit and its bathroom fit-out, the price, how payment is due, what delivery covers at your address and the workmanship warranty. Nothing is scheduled off the request itself: the truck is booked once the signed Bill of Sale comes back. An address beyond Zones A–B gets its route quoted on the delivery line of that document.

Sales tax is added at the rate for the delivery address. Site prep, the water and sewer connections, permits and upgrades are outside the price; the What is not included list above is the complete list of exclusions.

How do title, tax and warranty work?

The purchase is governed by a separate Bill of Sale. Until title transfers in writing, the Rental Agreement Terms apply. The Bill of Sale and written title record identify the assigned equipment and control the ownership transaction.

The Bill of Sale states a 12-month workmanship warranty on the fit-out JOLT built: the bathroom enclosure, interior finish, electrical and the mini-split installation. Beyond what the document states, sold equipment is sold “AS IS, WHERE IS,” with all faults, and JOLT disclaims other warranties. Do not assume a payment schedule, deposit or inspection window that is not in that document.

Applicable sales tax is extra. After transfer, the owner is responsible for permits, codes and approvals for owned equipment. That responsibility includes reviewing each new parcel and use rather than assuming an approval from the original job follows the office.

Section 15 explains that a separate Bill of Sale governs the purchase and that the Terms apply until written title transfer. Read it with the actual sale document. The assigned Bill of Sale, not a generic equipment description, is where any express sale terms must appear.

Keep the title record, Bill of Sale, utility records and future move documents together. A later carrier needs an accurate origin, destination and access picture. The owner should also coordinate disconnection of power, water and sewer before a move and obtain fresh approvals before the next placement.

An owned office does not become a residence, and purchase does not create blanket code acceptance. The authority with jurisdiction decides what permits, utility work and use approvals are required. Resolve those matters before delivery so ownership does not begin with an unusable placement.

Can a purchased 40 ft office use JOLT upgrades?

WATCH, CONNECT, POWER and READY can bill monthly as recurring services on an office the customer owns. The upgrade overview separates remote observation, Starlink, light-duty solar power and furnishings so the buyer can select only what the site needs. These services do not become part of the cash purchase.

All upgrade hardware remains JOLT property under section 13. That includes the camera, satellite equipment, standard solar and battery kit, furniture and appliances. Buying the office shell and listed fixed interior does not transfer rented service equipment attached to or placed inside it.

WATCH depends on LTE coverage for remote features. CONNECT depends on third-party satellite service, sky view and power. POWER depends on sun exposure, shade, weather and connected load, and supports only Starlink, the camera, lights, laptops and phones. It does not run the mini-split, power tools, compressors or heaters.

READY adds the plan table, two chairs, whiteboard, mini-fridge, microwave and heater listed for that service. It does not add internet, a camera or independent power. The heater and appliances need a suitable source, so settle the electrical plan before treating furnishings as a day-one solution.

JOLT does not guarantee uptime, speed, coverage or capacity for upgrade services. If the owned office moves, discuss the new sky view, cellular conditions, power and equipment access before assuming the service will perform the same way. Arrange any hardware removal with JOLT rather than taking it off during a site move.

BRAND removable vinyl is $450 and is fitted at our yard before delivery. The vinyl remains JOLT property under section 14. Use the logo-branding process to submit the mark and coordinate placement instead of painting or drilling the shell during yard preparation.

How should an owner decide before contacting JOLT?

Start with the bathroom requirement. If the crew truly needs an enclosed bathroom in the same unit, identify who will design, permit, supply and connect water and sewer at the first site. If portable sanitation already solves the need, compare the 20 ft office purchase rather than owning more office than the operating plan requires.

Next, test access at every likely location. The 40 ft office needs about 100 ft of straight-line truck clearance, and the road, turns, grade and overhead path must also work. A future site that cannot receive the unit weakens the case for ownership even if the present pad is ready.

Then assign ongoing responsibility. Name the person who holds the title record, schedules disconnections, procures transport, maintains the office and obtains approvals. Decide where the unit waits between jobs and whether that yard has legal placement, truck access and a plan for weather exposure.

Compare cash purchase and rental according to the business's real work pipeline. Buy for immediate ownership with future uses identified. Rent when retrieval and the ability to change equipment on the next job have operational value.

Finally, prepare the sale conversation. Send the form with the responsible buyer, the delivery address, the target date and the utility plan, and attach pad and approach photos to the reply to your confirmation email. Prefer to talk first? Call 970-279-1015 and ask for Ross, Monday–Friday, 7am–7pm Mountain Time, or email reserve@joltrents.com.

The result should be a matched plan for the office, the truck route and the owner's utility scope. A bathroom office is useful only when the placement, services and approvals are ready with it. Resolve those practical items before signing the Bill of Sale and scheduling our truck.
