An Alpine 20 ft office rents for $1,895/mo from our yard in Gypsum, plus its zone delivery fee, and a $750 deposit holds the unit and delivery window. It carries a 3-month minimum in Zones A–E and puts a matte-black, cedar-trimmed mountain envelope around the working Grid-Free office.
Choose Alpine when the office is part of the view from the residence, resort walk, sales route or design-review inspection. It gives the superintendent a ground-level field office without presenting an unfinished container face to the client every morning.
Alpine is the appearance-led tier in the 20 ft office family. Its matte-black exterior, cedar surrounds, standing-seam over-roof and covered entry deck change how the office meets a finished mountain property. Backup heat supports the cold-weather plan, while the familiar container-office layout keeps daily field work compact and direct.
The core equipment matches the Grid-Free 20 ft office: a 20 ft ISO container office, 36-inch steel personnel door, two barred slider windows, mini-split heat and cooling, lights, outlets and vinyl-plank floor, plus WATCH, CONNECT, POWER and a 10 kWh battery. Its solar array and battery run the HVAC without shore power.
This tier fits a custom-home site where the owner sees the office beside the driveway for months. It also fits resort renovations, ski-area projects and a development sales center where subcontractors, buyers and neighboring owners all pass the field office. The selection is about the envelope and arrival experience, not a larger floor plan.
No finish can promise permit, HOA or design-review approval. Permits, zoning, HOA, design-review and landlord consents remain the customer's responsibility under Rental Agreement §5.2. Send the responsible reviewer the placement plan and current product information before committing to a pad.

The standing-seam over-roof is shaped to shed snow, but JOLT does not publish a snow-load rating for the rental. Use the snow-load and container-structure guide to frame site questions, and keep snow, ice and debris off the roof, condenser, doors and access paths as required by Rental Agreement §7.4.
Monthly rent is $1,895/mo, and the reservation deposit is $750. The deposit reserves a specific unit and delivery window and is applied to the first invoice under Rental Agreement §2.1. Delivery, pickup, recurring fees, upgrades, tax and any site work are separate lines.
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| $1,895 /mo |
The minimum rental is 3 months for Zones A–E. Rent starts when the office is delivered and is due for the full minimum, then continues month to month until proper pickup notice and retrieval. The rate increases 5% on each anniversary of delivery.
The monthly invoice also carries a 5% environmental fee and, unless you post a deposit and insurance instead, a 12% damage waiver, both calculated on rent plus recurring upgrades. The damage waiver is not insurance and is subject to a deductible and exclusions, including theft, vandalism, unauthorized relocation, snow-load neglect and upgrade hardware. A refundable deposit of one month's rent plus a certificate of insurance is the alternative described under Rental Agreement §10.
Review published pricing beside the project duration rather than comparing rent alone. The Alpine choice is most defensible when its visible exterior solves a real owner, sales or property-presentation concern. If the office sits behind screening where only the crew sees it, Base may cover the same interior function at a lower monthly rate.
Alpine is not eligible for JOLT Express. That service applies only to Base, so the standard 2–4 week window governs Alpine scheduling. Check the availability badge at the top of this page before aligning delivery with mobilization.
The ISO 668 external dimensions are 20 ft long, 8 ft wide and 8 ft 6 in high before considering the added envelope elements. The covered entry deck and over-roof affect the practical placement area, so do not mark a pad from the steel-box footprint alone. Leave usable space around the entrance, condenser and all sides that need inspection or snow clearing.
Inside, the bare shell measures about 19 ft 3 in long, 7 ft 8 in wide and 7 ft 8 in high under ISO 668 minimum dimensions; the finished office is smaller by its insulation, wall lining and mini-split, so confirm the finished interior for the assigned unit before planning furniture to the inch. The personnel door avoids using cargo doors for routine entry. Two barred sliding windows support daylight and sightlines, and the vinyl-plank floor gives the crew a surface suited to normal office cleanup.
| Exterior finish | Matte black with cedar surrounds |
|---|---|
| Weather envelope | Standing-seam over-roof and covered entry deck |
| Cold-weather equipment | Mini-split plus backup heat |
| Power system | Solar array and 10 kWh battery; no shore power required |
| Camera and internet | WATCH camera and CONNECT Starlink included |
The mini-split provides heat and cooling, with backup heat included for the mountain configuration. For operating context, see working in a container office in winter and heating a shipping-container office. Neither resource changes the requirement to preserve solar exposure, clear snow and keep the condenser unobstructed.
Alpine requires no shore-power connection. Preserve exposure for its solar array and keep the panels clear so the 10 kWh battery can support the office HVAC under the conditions described in Rental Agreement §13.2.
For teams comparing building assemblies, the answer on how a shipping-container office is insulated explains the role of the finished interior. The Alpine distinction remains its exterior mountain treatment and backup heat, not a claim of a special code classification or a published snow rating.
The ground-level office explanation is useful when an owner is comparing this unit with a trailer. Entry is at container-floor height through the covered deck rather than high trailer stairs, and the office does not rely on wheels or a tow frame. Actual accessibility planning still belongs in the project site plan.
READY, a second camera and unlimited Starlink can stack on Alpine. READY is $125/mo, a second camera is $60/mo, and unlimited Starlink is $75/mo. WATCH, CONNECT and POWER are built in, so the bundled JOLT PACK cannot be added.
The READY package outfits the interior with a plan table, two chairs, whiteboard, mini-fridge, microwave and 1,500 W heater. On a sales-center placement, that produces a defined meeting surface and a cleaner opening-day setup. On a superintendent's office, it means the plan table and basic break equipment arrive with the unit instead of on a separate truck.
WATCH is included as a solar LTE panoramic camera with motion alerts and cloud clips. A camera can watch the entry, delivery court or equipment approach when its view is planned correctly. WATCH records at the site, and required signs or consents are the customer's responsibility under Rental Agreement §13.3.
CONNECT supplies Starlink Mini, a router and 50 GB Roam. Unlimited Starlink can be added where plan synchronization, video calls or sales-center use will exceed that allowance. Starlink, LTE and solar depend on sky view, weather and load, and JOLT does not guarantee uptime under Rental Agreement §13.2.
Alpine includes POWER solar and a 10 kWh battery that runs the HVAC, alongside Starlink, the camera, lights and laptops. The system requires no shore power, though actual performance still depends on solar exposure, weather and load.
The JOLT PACK cannot be added because Alpine already includes WATCH, CONNECT and POWER. READY, a second camera and unlimited Starlink remain separate choices. Hardware remains JOLT's and bills monthly with rent.
| Site need | Add | Field reason |
|---|---|---|
| Opening-day furniture | READY | Plan table, seating, whiteboard and break equipment |
| Second site view | Second camera | Adds another angle to included WATCH |
| More internet data | Unlimited Starlink | Extends included CONNECT service |
Kits are fitted in our yard before delivery and may be added during the rental. Select them in the reservation flow when possible so wire routing, panel position, camera aim and interior setup are settled before the office reaches a visible property.
Prepare a firm, level and well-drained placement that accommodates the office, deck and working perimeter. Keep the covered entrance out of roof-drip zones and drainage channels. The condenser, over-roof edges, door and windows need room for service and routine snow removal.
Our tilt-bed or flatbed truck needs about 70 ft of straight-line clearance for a 20 ft unit. Check the entire route for turning room, road width, grade, trees, eaves, overhead wires, gate columns, landscaping, parked equipment and staged materials. A decorative driveway that fits a pickup may still be too tight for placement equipment.
In Vail and Beaver Creek, coordinate arrival around gate access, neighborhood restrictions and active trades. In Aspen and Snowmass, preserve truck access as excavation, cranes and finish landscaping change the route. The site representative must be present to direct placement.
Utilities must be located and marked before arrival. Bring the electrical contractor into the pad decision because the 50-amp inlet and approved route need to work with the final orientation. Do not use unapproved penetrations, field modifications or improvised connections to solve a planning miss.
The customer handles permits, zoning, HOA, design-review and landlord consent. Alpine can be easier to present because its envelope speaks to a mountain property, but appearance does not equal approval. Document the reviewer decision for the selected location rather than relying on a product name.
Snow management starts on delivery day and continues until retrieval. Under Rental Agreement §7.4, the customer keeps snow, ice and debris off roofs, condensers, panels, doors and access paths. The standing-seam over-roof sheds snow, so locate the office where released snow will not bury the entry, strike people or block the pickup route.
The unit cannot be used as a residence or for overnight sleeping. Hazardous materials, stacking, welding, cutting, drilling and painting are prohibited. Do not move or lift it yourself; JOLT performs an on-site relocation with our truck for $450.
Standard delivery is a 2–4 week window from reservation. Our team prepares the office and selected upgrades at our yard in Gypsum, then our truck delivers it to the approved, marked placement. Use how it works to coordinate reservation, site preparation, delivery and monthly rental administration.

Use the delivery zones to match the job town to its one-way fee: Beaver Creek is Zone A — $400 each way, Vail is Zone B — $550 each way, and Aspen and Snowmass are Zone C — $750 each way. Pickup in Zones A–E is charged at the same amount as delivery.
Park City is a Zone F placement. It carries a 12-month minimum, delivery is $1,795, and pickup is quoted in writing before delivery. Confirm both the longer term and the written pickup quote before using Alpine as a development sales center or ski-area field office there.
| Zone | Towns | Delivery | Pickup |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zone A | Gypsum, Eagle, Edwards, Avon, Beaver Creek | $400 | $400 |
| Zone B | Vail, Minturn, Glenwood Springs | $550 | $550 |
| Zone C | Breckenridge, Frisco, Silverthorne, Keystone, Carbondale, Basalt, Aspen, Snowmass | $750 | $750 |
| Zone D | Steamboat Springs, Leadville, Grand Junction | $950 | $950 |
| Zone E | Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Evergreen, Golden, Morrison, Lakewood, Arvada, Aurora, Centennial, Littleton, Boulder, Castle Rock, Denver | $1,200 | $1,200 |
| Zone F — Mountain West12-month minimum | WY, ID, UT, MT | $1,795 | Pickup quoted separately before delivery |
Tell JOLT about switchbacks, restricted delivery hours, gate procedures, steep approaches and overhead constraints before dispatch. A failed trip is charged under Rental Agreement §5. A mountain address is not reachable just because pickups and skid steers have been getting in; a tilt-bed with a 20 ft office on it needs the straight run.
Alpine also fits ski-resort projects, but site operations remain project-specific. Coordinate pedestrian separation, snow storage, equipment traffic and the office's visible side with the resort team. The covered deck should open toward a managed walking surface, not an equipment lane.
Give at least 15 days' written notice for retrieval. Rent continues until our truck retrieves the office, so align notice with the real demobilization sequence rather than the superintendent's last planned day. Preserve the delivery route and working clearance while landscaping, paving and owner turnover advance.
Return the office empty, clean, accessible and free of customer attachments. Remove sales displays, plan storage, furniture not supplied by JOLT, temporary signs and personal property. Items left inside are deemed abandoned, and a failed pickup trip is charged under Rental Agreement §16.
Clear snow and ice from the over-roof, covered deck, condenser, doors and truck route before retrieval. Do not remove JOLT hardware, cameras, panels, signage or telematics. If the office must shift before pickup, arrange the move with JOLT rather than lifting or dragging it on site.
In Zones A–E, the pickup fee equals the original delivery fee. Park City and all other Zone F placements carry the 12-month minimum and use the pickup amount quoted in writing before delivery. Confirm the access date and site contact by email so our driver arrives to an open route and an office ready to load.
If the finished property needs a permanent office rather than a rental, review the separate 20 ft office purchase option. For a rented unit that must carry project identity, removable vinyl is available through logo branding and is applied in our yard before delivery. Buying and branding are separate decisions from the Alpine rental terms.
Pick the unit, enter the jobsite ZIP and the term. The lines below come from the same quote the reservation flow builds, so the total here is the total you see before you pay the deposit.
Then $2,217.15/month through a 3-month term. Delivery and pickup are priced by zone once you enter the job ZIP.
