0:00What should be done before the truck leaves?
A good mobile office setup starts before the truck leaves our yard. Here's the checklist every superintendent should run.
Pick a firm, level, well-drained pad. Not soft fill, and not a runoff path.
Keep it clear of the next phase of work.
0:14What does the truck need for access?
Give the truck a straight approach. Check road width, turns, and overhead wires.
Mark underground and overhead utilities before dispatch, and line up your permits.
0:24Shore power or solar: which do you need?
A Base office runs on shore power, so bring your electrician in early for the fifty-amp inlet.
No power coming? Pick Grid-Free or Alpine.
Face the solar to open sky, away from buildings and cranes.
Once it's set, don't move it with site equipment. Call us, and our truck relocates it.
